IsometricTileMap vs MapSprite

I've started a proof of concept for a new game that would use isometric perspective. I've been playing around with the IsometricTileMap examples I've found. I think it is quite tricky, probably due to the lack of documentation, but I guess I could get used to. Then I realized that MapSprite can also work in isometric mode, so I wanted to ask which is better for what, if you suggest to work with any of them instead of the other, or if is there any difference in terms of performance, memory or multi-platform support. Thanks!



Can I bring new knowledge to publish or not as recent updates?



I learned about this after reading it. It's a very good thing for me.
